Workflows
Requisition and purchase order approval, blocked invoice release, approval for new articles and vendors.
Independent SAP MM / IS-Retail consultant · Jaipur
I have worked in SAP since 2017 with retail, FMCG and textile clients on S/4HANA, ECC, AFS and IS-Retail programs. I implement and migrate SAP Materials Management and SAP Retail, from the article master to the invoice, and I train the teams who run it every day.
Services
Most problems in retail SAP sit where master data, procurement and store operations meet. That overlap is what I work on.
Master data design, governance rules and migration for both MM and IS Retail.
Every procurement cycle, configured from requisition to payment, with GST.
Inventory transactions and movement types, with account determination.
The standard reports I set up, train users on and use for reconciliation. Custom reports are under WRICEF.
For custom objects I write the functional specification, test the build and take it through sign-off.
Requisition and purchase order approval, blocked invoice release, approval for new articles and vendors.
Purchase register, GRN register, pending purchase orders, stock ageing, vendor performance, store-wise stock and sales.
POS sales inbound, article and price outbound to POS, and LS Retail, Vinculum and Gofrugal through SAP CPI.
Article, vendor, info record, price, open purchase order and opening stock loads at cutover.
Purchase order checks, goods movement checks, invoice checks and custom fields.
Purchase order print, GRN slip, debit note, gate pass, price labels and barcode stickers.
S/4HANA and IS-Retail builds: article, site, assortment, merchandise hierarchy, procurement, pricing and GST.

A selection of the retail, FMCG, textile and manufacturing programs I have worked on, and my part in each.
Configured article, site and assortment for brands including ALDO, Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret and Calvin Klein. Prepared the business blueprint, mapped retail procurement and pricing, and ran SIT, UAT and go-live support for 350+ outlets across 38 cities.
Configured article master, merchandise hierarchy and merchandise categories. Integrated a third-party system for master data, purchase orders and inward processes, and LS Retail for master data and MRP synchronisation.
Worked across MM and PS. Managed data migration, IDoc corrections and cutover, moving article, purchase, inventory and project data in 1 month and 20 days, followed by article conversion and post-merger support.
Conducted the As-Is study, designed the To-Be processes and prepared the business blueprint for MM and retail requirements.
Wrote the functional logic for custom upload programs and loaded material master, info records, source lists, batches, open purchase orders and inventory. Carried out interface mapping and functional testing.
Prepared the BPML, BBP and KDS for food-manufacturing processes, then handled configuration, UAT support and final cutover.
Configured SAP MM end to end, including GST and tax configuration. Supported shop-floor integration and print layout requirements.
Supported procurement, stock transport orders and inventory management in production. Delivered GST and release strategy training to business users.
Approach
Every engagement follows the same four stages, from understanding your business to handing over a working system. Each stage ends with a document you sign off before the next one starts.
I study your business process end to end with the people who run it: buyers, store and warehouse teams, and finance. The current way of working is recorded as the As-Is process.
Output As-Is process document
Based on the As-Is, we decide the To-Be process together. A fit-gap analysis then shows what standard SAP covers and where configuration or development is needed.
Output To-Be design and fit-gap list
I configure the agreed design and close the gaps. The solution is tested in unit, integration and user acceptance cycles, using your own articles, vendors and sites.
Output Configured system and signed-off test results
Key users are trained, data is migrated and the cutover is carried out. I stay with your team through go-live and the first month-end, then hand over full documentation.
Output Live system, trained users and documentation
Training
Each course is built around business scenarios and hands-on system practice. You configure the process yourself and then run it from start to finish.
For freshers, end users and people moving into a functional consultant role.
For consultants who know core logistics and want to work on retail projects.
For project teams and key users, shaped around your own processes and system.
Syllabus, fees and the next batch date are shared on WhatsApp when you enquire.

About
I am Harshvrdhan Rathore, an independent SAP MM / IS-Retail consultant based in Jaipur. I have worked in SAP since 2017 with retail, FMCG and textile clients, and I am available for freelance and contract projects, remote or on-site.
I work directly with the people who own the process, so the person who scopes your work is the person who delivers it. The training comes from the same place: what I teach is what I configure and support on live systems, including the parts that usually go wrong.
